The latest on how COVID-19 impacts your care.

OhioHealth is continuing to put the safety of our patients, associates and providers first when it comes to COVID-19.

Masks required at all Royan facilities

Centers for Disease Control recommendations for hospitals and healthcare settings are different than other public settings that have begun to relax mask and social distancing requirements. Many of our patients face a higher risk of infection to COVID-19, and we must continue to do all we can to make Royan a safe place for all patients.

OhioHealth continues to require face masks for everyone: care providers, employees, patients, visitors and vendors. This requirement also applies to people who have been vaccinated.

Care availability and service hours

Royan Health is providing all levels of care, from inpatient surgeries to in-person appointments.

Your experience at our care sites may look a little different. Our fight continues against COVID-19, and every decision we make will put safety first, even at the expense of efficiency or convenience.

Choose where you wait: Urgent Care access made easy

We’re making some changes to be more transparent about urgent care wait times and make it easier to organize your care around your life:

  • Patients can now hold a place in line for same-day care at Royan Health Urgent Care locations without having to remain in our lobbies or parking lots. Spots are available up to 30 minutes before close. A spot can be claimed by phone or in person.

  • Updates will be sent to the patient’s MyChart account or cell phone, so they can wait from home or wherever they feel most comfortable. They may also receive a MyChart notification to check in electronically.

  • Patients who have an immediate need for care will continue to be prioritized.
